Yes, The Archers makes you inadvertently self harm. You can be innocently listening to the news or a vaguely interesting documentary while elbow deep in kitchen duties and then suddenly you&#39;re listening to a couple of well-to-do old farts gassing on about their farm-y &#39;problems&#39;. Like we care? Another thing I find annoying is the way they&#39;ve given some of the characters completely inappropriate, plucked-out-of-the-air names like &#39;Shula&#39; and &#39;Jolene&#39;. It&#39;s clearly some kind of twatty BBC in joke. Anyway, thanks for commenting.
